So the duel begins!! Azuki sets off the Disk Capture (which looks really cool now) so Hikaru won't be able to escape or anything. She brings out a new monster, but what sort of abilities will it have...!?

Huh, I kinda like the style I drew the sound effects in. I think I'll keep it. C:

Panel crossing effects =P

Liking the "lightning" effects of the capture. Well done.

Azuki seems almost rabid in those panels, very fierce expression. Well other than the obvious adrenaline-pumping experience of dueling with a dangerous criminal on top of a moving truck, I wonder if there's something going on with her.

I very much like her style in the last panel, she looks very battle-ready. On the other hand the monster, Artellerene Corporal, seems slightly rushed, there's very little detail. I like how she kinda mirrors Azuki's stance.

A very good page, powerful start. Even if it didn't showcase much, seems like Azuki is ready to set the field. But given some of the LS common opening moves (basically any combo that involves bringing out Wulf), Azuki better have some in-hand effects, or that Corporal have some way to defend her.

I didn't comment on the previous page btw because I thought it would be redundant on a title page. I will say it was probably one of the best you've done art-wise, really excellent material right there, and the theme was kind of spooky. Hikaru seems one of the most interesting characters thus far. Keep it up!

Thanks for another page review.

I think Azuki's expression stems more from me just liking to mess around with facial expressions whenever I can.

Yeah, Corporal was kind of rushed in inking, because some of the details weren't quite hammered out yet. I really hadn't "finished" the design you could say. The card-artwork for it is a bit higher quality though.

Thanks for the compliment on the title page. I think it's also my best, like the greatest coloring I've ever done. Haha. The whole point is to make Hikaru appear as looming, which I luckily pulled off well. Hopefully, we can keep Hikaru as an interesting character.

Not a bad creature.

Hey, out of curiosity, could I submit one of my own card creations to have it appear in the comic?
