And here's part two of our little early gift. Hikaru continues being badass, while we cut to Taisuke apparently driving as slow as he possibly can. XD

But what will happen when he inevitably catches up to Azuki...?

Curse you Hikaru and your badassness! Lets hope Taisuke does not hit Azuki on his way to find her.

WAIT.

YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T LEAVE THAT CLIFFHANGER - *dies*.

Well, the fact that she isn't, you know, lying in a pool of her own blood gives me some hope. Maybe she'll get away with a broken arm or something. But she'll be staying out of the action for a while... I just hope Taisuke doesn't get to duel Hikaru in her stead. She needs to have her revenge >_>.

TK: Riiiiiight. >>

*uses Water of Life/Phoenix Down/Monster Reborn/whatever game/anime revival technic being followed* Can't have a fan dying now can we? We just wanted to let you know that there would be no super awesome acrobatics or happy fun rescue. :D

Plus, we gotta give Taisuke some screen time too. The poor guy.

Poor Azuki

Question. Since the duel capture system was still in effect, wouldn't it have dragged him off to or keep her on? I would have liked to see her fall of the truck(not mean) under more epic circumstances such as: Him delivering the final blow, dropping her to 0 LP, ending the duel capture, and sending her flying or something like that. Its good so far though.

@MinatoKizuna: This is a very valid question and something that I can and can't answer. How I can't answer is that I am not the original writer of this series so I (as well as Siliva), most likely don't know what was going on with the disc capture system that he had planned.

What I can tell you is that my explanation of the disc capture system is that it's merely a way of registering that the duel disc is in use. It connects one duelist to another and operates within a set diameter. Exceeding this diameter would instantly render the disc capture useless. In essence, it's just wireless or wi-fi.

@AoiTsukihime: @MinatoKizuna: Uhh, yeah, pretty much. AoiTsukihime nailed most of it--though I'd like to clarify that it's not a physical "capture" system. It is wireless, which is why you never see the capture "wire" after it's initially launched.

If I recall correctly, the original script had it mention that a shot of the Duel Disk saying "Disk Capture Deactivated" or something like that. Apparently I forgot to add that little bit in. >>"

Thanks for your question though!
